The Mornington Peninsula Hot Springs Water Benefits

Although it could take you a minute or two to get used to the heat in the pools, which can range in temperature from 37 to 43 degrees Celsius, the advantages to your health outweigh the discomfort at first. Mineralized water can help with musculoskeletal problems, arthritis, cardiovascular disease, and stress while also making you feel refreshed and at ease. The water in these hot springs is gathered from approximately 637 metres below the surface and is then directly poured into the baths. The natural thermal mineral water of the hot springs rises from deep below, heated by the Earth’s core and locked up for more than 10,000 years. Every spa is cleaned, drained, and replenished with natural mineral spring water each night so that it is ready for use the next day.

This leading wellness destination and award-winning natural hot springs is your top pick thanks to its range of packages that are influenced by cultures around the world. The variety of bath house services offered has expanded along with the business over the years and now includes everything from individual bathing to body treatments and even a reflexology walk.

Bathing & Experiences at the Mornington Peninsula Hot Springs

The thalasso treatment hydro jet pool, which has six seats with views of the lake and water jets to massage your body, is one of the best bathing experiences on offer. If you dare, take a dip in the icy plunge pools afterwards, which will aid in boosting metabolism and blood flow while reducing inflammation in the muscles. After treating your body, you should stimulate your feet along the reflexology walk, where you can walk on 10 various types of stones to promote relaxation and circulation. Wind your way up to the summit pool for the most breathtaking views of the Peninsula and take in the 360-degree views of lush, rolling grasslands.

Visit the Spa Dreaming Centre for a really relaxing experience. There, you may select from a variety of services like body wraps, massages, facials, bamboo showers, and opulent private bathing pavilions. If you become hungry, you can also stop by the Spa Dreaming Centre Café for breakfast and lunch.

Recent renovations significantly improved the wellness centre’s and bathhouse’s former design. Choose from a wide variety of hot and cold pools that range in temperature. Favourites include the ice cave and Turkish Hammam, where you may experience -25 degrees Celsius before entering the sauna room next door. A recent addition, the cave pool is located close to the chilly plunge pool and not far from the main bathhouse.

Book a Beautiful Cabana

There are various lounge places scattered throughout the spa where you may unwind, but if you’re looking for a little more privacy and luxury, we’d suggest renting one of their cosy bathhouse relaxation cabanas. In addition to having a daybed, pouffe, coffee table, air conditioning, cosy lighting, and a safe to keep your possessions, these cabanas come equipped with an app that allows you to order food and drinks to be delivered to you rather than going to the restaurant. The nibbling platter is something we’d recommend adding to your reservation. It’s recommended to schedule your cabana reservation for after your wellness activities, which you should do without a doubt, to maximise your time in the area.
