Enchanted Adventure, Arthurs Seat

Enchanted Adventure in Arthurs Seat is the perfect location for a fun filled day. They offer a unique tree top adventure; tree surfing, a challenge spread over 50 aerial obstacles and 5 different levels that include bridges, rock climbing walls, ziplines and swings. There is also a nippers version for smaller children. A General admission ticket also gives you access to their beautiful mazes and gardens, with miles of picnic areas and places to explore as well as access to their multiple tube slides for a bit more of an adrenaline rush. Enchanted Adventure has something for the whole family and will easily fill up a spare day!

Dinosaur World is a great place to bring your younger children for an opportunity to use their imaginations and immerse themselves in the world of Dinosaurs! Best suited for kids 2-8, bring them here to meet a walking dinosaur, dig for fossils in the discovery marquee and enjoy a picnic in the sun! Hot and cold food is also available for purchase, and barbecues are available!

Moonlit Sanctuary, Pearcedale

This award winning wildlife park allows you to get an up close and personal interaction with a number of Australian animals, 70+ species in fact. Feed kangaroos and wallabies, meet a koala and a number of birds and reptiles. Tune in to one of their many keeper talks and shows throughout the day to learn more about these stunning animals. Their night tours are when the sanctuary truly comes alive, lantern lit, explore the grounds and visit their many nocturnal animals in their natural environment.

Arthurs Seat Eagle, Arthurs Seat

This aerial gondola system is a trademark of the Mornington Peninsula. Travel between the Base Station in Dromana to the Summit of Arthurs Seat, and enjoy stunning views of the state park below and the beautiful bay. Peninsula Hot Springs is an award-winning geothermal hot springs and day spa based on the Mornington Peninsula. Ashcombe Maze and Lavender Gardens is home to Australia’s oldest hedge maze, along with a number of other mazes and garden attractions to explore. This is a beautiful place to spend the day in the sun with a picnic, or a snack from the Ashcombe cafe. This little bit of paradise is enticing for the whole family, and is the beautiful backdrop for a fun day spent together.

Mornington Railway, Mornington

Take a ride on this heritage train with the family from Mornington to Moorooduc and experience an educational and enjoyable Sunday activity. The train runs every Sunday and Wednesdays during Victorian school holidays, and on the 1st Sunday of each month, there is a small market run at the Moorooduc station to accompany your ride.

This beautiful conservation site is the perfect place for your dose of nature during your trip on the Mornington Peninsula. Enjoy one of their many walking trails, have a picnic in one of their many picnic areas, visit the homestead or visit the Astronomy Centre on site. They also host a number of events over Summer, so be sure to keep an eye out for their outdoor cinema and other events that are sure to pop up!

The 40 minute trip across the bay from Sorrento to Queenscliff is not online a fun experience to enjoy as a family, but conveniently links the Mornington Peninsula to the Bellarine Peninsula, opening the door to even more experiences and great opportunity. An environmentally friendly alternative to the otherwise 200km drive, bring your car along with you, or simply enjoy the relaxing experience of the return trip.

The Dromana Drive Ins has been operating since 1961, screening all the latest and old school films for over 50 years. Now heritage listed, this protected location is a novel experience for those of all ages, and is conveniently located in central Dromana. Grab dinner at their on-site diner or bring snacks to enjoy in the comfort of your own car. They even have a small deck chair outdoor cinema you can enjoy if you don’t have an available vehicle.
